Through the proactive implementation of its Gender and Development (GAD) agenda, the Schools Division Office of Nueva Vizcaya GAD Focal Point System successfully mainstreamed gender-responsive practices, capacity-building programs, and inclusive policies across all educational institutions in the division. By conducting division-wide gender sensitivity workshops, targeted leadership orientations, and specialized training for school heads, teaching personnel, and non-teaching staff, the system equipped educators with the tools to eliminate gender bias in curriculum delivery and learning environments. Furthermore, through institutionalized advocacy campaigns, rigorous monitoring, and strategic resource allocation aligned with national standards, the GFPS strengthened child protection, promoted zero tolerance for gender-based violence, and fostered safe, equitable space where learners and educators of all backgrounds can thrive.
